243rd Anniversary of the Battle of Blue Licks

The Governor Isaac Shelby Chapter held their annual Blue Licks Memorial at the Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park in Carlisle, Kentucky.  The event was attended by several out-of-state compatriots.  This video of highlights was created by members of the Allen Laws Oliver Chapter of the Missouri Society, thanks for sharing this with us!

In addition to the Memorial Service on Saturday morning, there were several opportunities for fellowship and food.  Friday evening included a bluegrass collaboration where a few SAR members performed together.  The weekend concluded with the Kentucky State Summer Meeting.
